Congratulations to Prof. Daniela Molinari for being elected as Chair of the Flood Risk Management Technical Committee of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR).
The main objective of the IAHR Technical Committee on Flood Risk Management (FRM) is to offer a platform where researchers and practitioners may confront each other on challenges and opportunities of FRM. From another perspective, the objective of the Committee is to create occasions for exchange of knowledge and practice, which is crucial for promoting the key role of hydraulic engineering in FRM. Such goals are reached by the promotion and organization of seminars, workshop, conferences on key themes of FRM as well as by the development of knowledge sharing initiatives.
