During the Hydrology Days held in Matera, Nikolas Galli (RTD-A researcher – Politecnico di Milano DICA) and Marco Lompi (researcher at the University of Florence) were awarded with Florisa Melone 2023 prize of the Italian Hydrological Society, for the project “FLORAES – FLood Regulating AgroEcosystem Services – assessment to improve flash flood risk management in agricultural river basins”.
The prize, supported by the family of Dr. Florisa Melone and the Italian Hydrological Society (SII), consists of €5000 to be dedicated to the development of a research project lasting 12 months by young researchers from different institutions, registered at the SII, with the aim of encouraging scientific autonomy and collaborations between young people in the hydrological field.
