Michele Rosso premiato con il Best Poster Award – PowerMEMS 2023

Michele Rosso, Postdoc presso il Dipartimento di Ingegneria Civile e Ambientale, ha ricevuto il Best Poster Award alla 22ª Conferenza Internazionale PowerMEMS 2023, svoltasi alla New York University di Abu Dhabi dall’11 al 14 dicembre.
Il riconoscimento è stato assegnato per la presentazione “Enhanced Frequency Up-Conversion of Vibration Energy Harvesters via Modified Magnetic Forces” che vede come coautori Alberto Corigliano e Raffaele Ardito.

La ricerca, finanziata dal progetto europeo MetaVEH, propone un innovativo metodo per migliorare le prestazioni degli harvesters piezoelettrici a bassa frequenza attraverso l’introduzione di non linearità intenzionali e la manipolazione dei campi magnetici, aprendo nuove prospettive nel settore dell’energia micro e nanotecnologica.
