Nutrition in Transition: Transnational Land Deals and Dietary Diversity in the  Global South

Venerdì 14 Marzo si terrà un seminario presso l’aula Magna (Edificio 1) dalle ore 11:15 dal titolo “Nutrition in Transition: Transnational Land Deals and Dietary Diversity in the  Global South“.

Il seminario sarà tenuto dal Prof. Marc F. Müller, Professore presso l’EAWAG-ETH Zurich.

Abstract

Large-scale land deals reshape rural areas, often displacing small farms and ecosystems. This talk analyzes 400+ land deals across 28 countries, linking them to child diets. Using a clustering algorithm, it identifies trade-offs, showing how policies can better regulate investments for fairer, sustainable outcome.
