The Eighth International Symposium on Life-Cycle Civil Engineering – IALCCE 2023 will be held in Milan, Italy, on July 2-6, 2023, under the auspices of Politecnico di Milano.

The symposium, organized on behalf of the International Association for Life-Cycle Civil Engineering (IALCCE), aims at bringing together all cutting edge research in the field of Life-Cycle Civil Engineering and to advance both the state-of-the-art and the state-of-practice in the field. Accordingly, it will provide opportunities for academics, engineers, architects, consultants, contractors, public authorities, and decision makers around the world to keep themselves up to date with the latest developments in the field.

IALCCE 2023 has received an extremely positive response to the Call for Mini-Symposia & Special Sessions and Call for Abstracts. The contributions received include a total of 50+ Mini-Symposia & Special Sessions, 750+ abstracts from 50+ countries and 500+ papers accepted for oral presentation and cover a very broad spectrum of research and advanced applications dedicated to the study of the life cycle of structures and civil engineering infrastructure systems.
