GIS4Schools: Geospatial technology for climate change in secondary schools

The webinar is organized by Eurisy in the framework of World Space Week 2021, which is taking place from 4th to 1’th October 2021.

The aim is to stimulate a discussion about the status-quo of STEM subject learning in high schools, as it relates to the issue of climate change as well as the role of space technology. During the webinar the project GIS4Schools will be presented, together with its innovative approach to STEAM subjects. In particular, referring to technology GIS and to the observation of the Earth. Finally, in the webinar session will participate professors and researchers of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering that are part and parcel of GIS4Schools.
