Award to Simone Rossi for the best PhD thesis in Sanitary-Environmental Engineering

On Tuesday 19th of July at the Sapienza University of Rome, Simone Rossi (PhD in Environmental and Infrastructure Engineering) will be awarded for the best PhD thesis in Sanitary-Environmental Engineering. 

The winner of the Prize was designated by a Commission of six professors of Sanitary-Environmental Engineering, elected by the Board of the Italian Group of Environmental Sanitary Engineering (GITISA). First out of nine candidates admitted to the examination of the commission, was Dr Simone Rossi, with a thesis entitled: Photo-respirometric methods to evaluate microalgae bacteria dynamics – Applications to photobioreactors monitoring and modeling. 

The award ceremony will take place on the occasion of the annual assembly of GITISA, which brings together professors and researchers of Sanitary-Environmental Engineering from all over Italy, from 11:30 am at the Sala del Chiostro of the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the Sapienza University of Rome, via Eudossiana 18 – Rome.
