Aronne Dell’Oca, a researcher at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, has been awarded the prestigious ERC (European Research Council) Starting Grant for the HYPOR project.
The ERC Starting Grant are aimed at researchers who obtained their Ph.D. at least 2 years and up to a maximum of 7 years ago. The goal is to enhance creativity and excellence in European frontier research by investing in the best ideas and encouraging the quality and ambition of individual researchers.
HYPOR focuses on the dynamics of transport and transformation of nutrients and dissolved pollutants within river systems.
