MOVIDA Project winner of the MINIMAX Competition

The MOVIDA project, coordinated by Prof. Daniela Molinari of DICA, has been awarded in the “MINIMAX competition: Solutions for managing water and climate extremes” by the Global Water Parternship, with the World Meteorological Organization, and the Water Climate Coalition.

The project, carried out by eight Italian Universities, the National Research Council, and the Po River District Authority, lead to the mapping of expected flood damage in the areas at significant risk in the Po District, supporting a more effective flood risk management based on the cost-benefit analysis of alternatives of intervention.
